PLA MATTE is a material with a chemically modified composition to achieve a matte surface on printed objects. The modifications in the filament’s composition have enabled improved mechanical strength properties, including impact resistance, flexibility, and durability compared to items made from standard PLA. Additionally, the use of additives has not only enhanced impact resistance and reduced brittleness of printed parts but also allowed for higher heat resistance (about 75 "C).

With these properties, PLA MATTE applications mainly focus on presenting key aesthetic values, such as industrial design prototyping for concept visualization and demonstration of design variants. It is also used for interior design purposes and architectural models.
