HMD OffGrid SATELLITE LOCATOR
No cellular signal does not mean losing contact. After pairing the device with your phone via the HMD OffGrid app, it is possible to send and receive text messages just like SMS.
The device also enables periodic sharing of location information via satellite connectivity. This increases the sense of safety for the user, their companions, and loved ones staying at home.
IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
The Overwatch x Rescue(TM) system supports approximately 10,000 rescue operations each year carried out by 940 search and rescue units. Regardless of the selected subscription plan, HMD OffGrid provides the ability to call for help and remain visible to rescue services even when not connected to a smartphone.
Simply press and hold the SOS button on the device to send an emergency signal. Satellite connectivity operates in selected areas of North America, Canada, Europe, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
DESIGN ADAPTED TO HARSH CONDITIONS
HMD OffGrid was designed with demanding terrain and changing weather conditions in mind. The housing meets the IP68 ingress protection rating and the military durability standard MIL-STD-810H.
An additional advantage is the battery providing up to three days of operation, allowing you to focus on your journey without the need for frequent charging.
FLEXIBLE SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
The user can choose one of two available subscription plans, tailored to different travel styles and activities.
Each plan includes access to the Premium SOS service, text messages, check-in messages, and an optional add-on in the form of live tracking. The minimum subscription period is 12 months.
