The AP6 is an Alta Labs-branded access point with a compact form factor and sleek, aesthetic design for seamless integration into corporate, commercial and residential environments. The access point is powered by Ethernet (PoE) for simple and intuitive installation. It comes with a versatile mounting kit with patented QuickMount(TM) technology for quick and easy installation.

Scalable cloud-based management
Alta Labs offers an intuitive and easy-to-use cloud-based management interface for Alta Labs access points and switches. It is designed for optimal scalability using a globally highly available architecture. Built on a worldwide network, the global cloud infrastructure provides geographically optimized connectivity through Alta Labs' redundant network. Deploy and manage multiple locations quickly and easily. Instantly add, remove or rename locations. Switch between locations from a drop-down location selection list.
Authentication with multiple passwords
Use different WiFi passwords to distribute network traffic and manage connectivity. Passwords can also be tied to a specific upload or download speed, VLAN or to bypass scheduling or for hotspot functions.
Mobile app and DPI engine
Monitor and manage your networks from the convenience of your mobile device. The management interface is easily accessible via the mobile app or web browser. Register an Alta Labs account using just your name, email address and password, or use Google authentication.
Advanced filtering allows you to block content by application, selected from an extensive predefined list. You can also enter domain names to block them.
Excellent performance. Changes and scans on the fly without rebooting
Built on Qualcomm's dual-band, 4-stream WiFi 6 network platform, the AP6 provides optimal WiFi 6 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz performance.
Configuration changes that do not require a network reboot can be made without shutting down the network, and scans of the AP environment can be performed without disrupting the Wi-Fi network.
Hotspot functionality and SSID broadcasting flexibility
The AP6 access point has a built-in function to create your own local hotspot with a logo, front page, terms of service and a final landing page. There is also an option to redirect to an external URL. In addition to standard features such as hiding the SSID, you can continue to broadcast the SSID during a "scheduled shutdown." This provides network administrators with the ability to grant users additional time on the network. Users can request access through the portal displayed when trying to access the network.
Customizable dashboard
Customize the dashboard to your needs, displaying the information you want to see: IP address, load, number of devices, MAC address, firmware version, wireless color assignment and real-time status details. Details can be sorted by column.
Device cards
Easily view connection details and configure access points or client connections by clicking on the device icon.
